ARC Technologies, a Hexcel company, offers water jet cutting, an industrial process capable of cutting a variety of materials using a high-pressure stream of water.
Our 5-Axis “a-jet” water jet machine can precision cut custom designs with a wide variety of materials, everything from simple metals to complex composites. We have the machining capability to cut abrasive, allowing our machine to cut steel up to 6″ thick. Using water only cutting allows us to cut softer materials like foam and rubber composites with precision as well. Our OMAX 5555 JetMachining Center allows for rapid prototyping and just-in-time manufacturing. Our water jet machine has a 55″ x 55″ cutting surface and has a tolerance of +/- 0.003″.
