Hexcel Appoints Interim Chief Financial Officer
Hexcel Corporation (NYSE: HXL) today announced the appointment of Mike Lenz as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective November 30, 2025. Mr. Lenz is a seasoned financial executive with prior CFO experience. He will work closely with Hexcel’s senior management team to ensure a smooth transition while the company continues its search for a permanent CFO. Mr. Lenz will report directly to Tom Gentile, Hexcel Chairman, CEO and President.
Mr. Lenz brings an extensive financial background to Hexcel, having most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at FedEx. During his 18-year tenure at FedEx, he held several senior finance roles, including Treasurer and Vice President of Strategic Finance. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lenz held leadership positions in corporate planning and investor relations at American Airlines and began his professional journey as an aerospace engineer at McDonnell Douglas.
As previously announced, Patrick Winterlich, Hexcel’s current Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will remain with the company through November 30 to support a seamless transition.
